King George - 26th Dec

Looking at fridays card, i don't usually like to play too much in advance but with the weather looking set fair then we can assume the going at Kempton will be decent. Hence the bet

Albertas Run 0.5 ew at 50/1 with just the one - but 40/1 can be got elsewhere

This is the reigning Sun Alliance champion & has beaten Air Force One, who is around 9/1, both times they have raced on good ground. This horse needs good ground & a good pace to shine & should get both. At 7 yrs old there is still improvement left in him & trainer reports him in rude health. I am putting his 2 poor runs down to poor ground & at the odds this a bet I can't ignore!

A very busy day today so write ups will be brief as racing starts quite early as well

12.20 New - was hoping Zaynar was going to be a price but its way too short ( won)

12.50 New - Super Lord - 1pt win 6/1 (lost)

Goes very well fresh, loves soft ground, well handicapped & stable are expecting a nice run

1.10 Ban - Bannister lane 0.5 ew 12/1 (won)

came 3rd here last year & thsi more testing ground will suit it even more. Easier race than recent events & trainer always does well here. Nice ew price

1.45 ban - Roganstown - 1pt win 6/1 (up)

Once raced & ran very green.lots of talent & will be helped , not hindered, by having to jump hurdles.A poor race & stable like this hors.

2.35 - Tricky Trickster has the form in the book but with the stables form then we can't back it at 2/1

3.05 New - bakbenscher - 0.5 ew 15/2 (won)

Alan King likes this horse & looks to want this more testing trip & hround than which its raced on so far. can make its greater experience tell against some potentially decent horse

3.25 Ban - Moorland Teri - 1pt win 7/1 (won)

David Coleman takes off a very handy 7 lb in this & coupled with the fact its a mare it will carry a very light weight. Ran in the big mares bumper at Aintree after running a close 2nd to a decent Henderson horse. Vaughan is on fire & jockeys only ride of the day looks a decent one

8.20 Kemp - Swiss Franc - 0.5 ew. 12/1 (lost)

A very good 2 yr old who ran place behind a host of top class animals such as Henrythenavigator. Always looked like it needed a touch further so this first try at 7f is a bonus. Well drawn & ran well enough behind Duff last time. can see it getting much closer to Duff ( who is the big dager) & decent odds to do so

9.20 Kem - Whiskey Creek - 1pt win 3/1 (Won)

well drawn & in form ( a rare thing in these race) place 3times from 4 on AW including a few when badly drawn.blinkers seemed to help last time & can go one better tonight!

After an amazing couple of months including a couple of days where we hit 4 out of 5 winners at big odds the following e-mail on 22nd May provided 4 out of 4 at decent odds which provided many of our members with an unforgettable day, especially the ones who won over 5 figures after placing Lucky 15's !!

3.0 Haydock Bukit Tiniggi 1 pt win....form of last race very good when close 2nd to Red Wine with the rest lengths back. Plenty of horses behind were either in form or have run well since- Birkside, Flame Creek & Puy D'arnac amongst them. Gelded now and could still improve...11/4 Won

5.10 Goodwood Councellor 0.5 pt win...is 15 lbs better in on turf compared to AW and should rellish the fast ground. back to 7 furlongs should help . 5/1 Won

6.20 Worcester. Tot of the Knar 1 pt win. Info , used to be with Polly Gundry, now with Alison Thorpe and Richard Johnson rides  (won 6/4)

6.10 Salisbury. Charlie Delta. 1 pt Ew. Coming into form, and has competent lady rider on board. Looks good ew value.

(won 12/1)

York 2.10 Luberon 1pt win - Form tailed off badly last year & would not back unless i saw signs of recovery. Its last 2 races on the AW in class 2 events shows its back in form & due to poor 2007 is now off a mark almost a stone lighter than it was on. ( & its AW mark). Is a C&D winner & loves fast ground. 6/1 - Won

2.40 Geordieland. 1pt ew . 8/1 - Won

Strange one as it probably won't win!!. Cruises up but finds nothing off the bit. However always seems to be pipped so a place looks likely. worth the ew just in case it remembers how to win as its by far the classier horse in this lineup. if it fails we should make small profit on the place part

3.45 Rash Judgement 2pts win 9/4 - Unplaced

Strongly fancied by connections & has the form in the bag to win

4.20 - fancied 3 in this. No doubting Wyatt Earp has alot in its favour but 4/1 is too short. Mutamared should place but often just fades in the last 100yds so Tombi is my ew pick 0.5 pts ew 12/1 - Won

Good course form over 5f , will like this 6f, goes well fresh & loves fast ground

Over at Newbury - 5.05 Mae Cigan 0.5pt ew 16/1 - Won

Fancied to improve for step up in distance & better ground

Some excellent racing today..Hope you managed to get 33/1 about Maslak yesterday...another little gem unearthed by JC

Lingfield 2.40 Oaks trial...Ice Queen & Look Here have obvious chances, but the ew bet of the race is Miracle Seeker...0.5 pt Ew at 14/1...This filly is highly regarded by trainer Clive Cox, who thinks she will improve for this longer trip..Looks very good EW value ( WON at 10/1 )

Ascot 2.20 Barry Hills runs three, and Dabbers Ridge is in with a shout ,but would like it softer..Zaahid looks an improving 4 yr old who is lightly raced and is worth 0.5 pt ew.( WON at 5/1 )...but the one I like is King of Dixie, who has only run 3 times , and has been trained with this race in mind and is well fancied...recomend 1 pt EW at 9/1 available ( 3rd at 8/1 )

Haydock 1.25 Ruby walsh rides Sporazene for Paul Nicholls, and this 9 yr old is always capable of winning a race like this...David Pipe has 3 runners, but the one I like Is Liberate 1pt win...Stable in form, and this was second to Katchit in the triumph hurdle last year..Good ground is the key to this horse, and he comes here relatively fresh..( WON at 10/1 )

Haydock 2.0 Blue Bajan.. 1 pt EW...Strongest bet of the day..Andy Turnell thinks a lot of this horse, and thinks it could be Champion Hurdle class! Will love the ground, and looks very well weighted with just 10st. 8 lbs. Big run expected ( WON at 4/1 )

And one this evening at Thirsk 8.40 Invincible Lad 0.5 pt ew...finished a close 6th in handicap at Southwell a month ago, and the form of that race has worked out very well indeed..Extra furlong this evening and low draw gives him a sound chance. ( Unplaced )
